The Secret of Success
"THE SECRET OF SUCCESS IN LIFE AND BUSINESS IS TO HELP OTHERS SUCCEED IN THEIR LIFE AND BUSINESS"
What is your vision for yourself and your future? What is your vision
for your family and your finances? What is your vision for your career
and your company? Peter Drucker once wrote, "Even if you are starting
your business on a kitchen table, you must have a vision of becoming a
world leader in your field, or you will probably never be successful."
People become really quite remarkable when they start thinking that
they can do things. When they believe in themselves they have the first
secret of success.
There are seven essential principles that you must practice
throughout your life if you are to achieve maximum success.
They have been taught and repeated in thousands of books and articles
over the years, and here they are:
1. Clarity: You must be
absolutely clear on who you are and what you want. You need written
goals and plans for every part of your life. As Zig Ziglar would say,
you must become a "meaningful specific" rather than a "wandering
generality."
Begin with your values. What do you believe in and stand for? What is
most important to you in life? What would you pay for, fight for,
suffer for and die for? What do you really care
about? Someone once wrote, "Until you know exactly what you would do if
you only had one hour left to live, you are not prepared to live."

What is your purpose for your life and your business? Why do you get
up in the morning? What is your reason for being? And here's a great
question: What do you really want to do with your life?
Finally, what are your goals? What do you want to accomplish in your
financial life? What are your family goals? What are your health goals?
What difference do you want to make in the lives of others? And here is
the best question: What would you dare to dream if you knew you could
not fail?
The greater clarity you have regarding each of these issues--values,
vision, mission, purpose and goals--the greater the probability that you
will accomplish something wonderful with your life.
2.. Positive Self-Concept.
Imagine that you wake up one morning and your roommate is waiting to
tell you something. He or she says, “I’ve been wanting to tell you what
an outstanding roommate you are. You’re so kind, so thoughtful; you
always keep the room so neat. Just being around you motivates me to be
the most positive person I can be.”
Then you float into your first class. Your professor is about to
return the midterm exams you took last week, but before he distributes
them he says, “I have an announcement I’d like to make. I want everyone
to know what an outstanding job this student has done on this test.” He
points to you in the front row and says, “You are a breath of fresh air
to me as a professor. You always do your assignments on time. You often
do even more than is expected of you. Why, if every student were like
you, teaching would be a joy. I was even considering leaving teaching
before you came along!”
Wouldn’t that help you have a great attitude about yourself? And wouldn’t it motivate you to be a better roommate, a better date, a better student? You’d say to yourself, “Why, I’m one sharp person. After all, my roommate, my date and my prof all think so … and they’re no dummies!” You wouldn’t argue with them for a minute!
Of course, some people think so highly of themselves that their egos become problems. Nevertheless, many psychologists agree with Dr. Joyce Brothers when she says, ” . . a strong, positive self- image is the best possible preparation for success in life.”
4. Never Stop Learning: You must learn good things in your life. Each Day try to learn something new.Go back to school or read books. Get training & acquire skills.

3. Take Action. Goals are nothing without action.
Be like Nike and “Just do it”. I took action by reaching out and started writing. Every day I try to take some action towards my goals. It may be small, but it’s still an action. Have you taken action towards your goals?

Becoming a life long learner would benefit us all and is something we
should instill in our kids. It’s funny that once you’re out of school
you realize how enjoyable learning can be. What have you learned today?
5. Be Persistent and Work Hard: Success is a marathon, not a sprint. Never give up.
I think every story of success I read entails long hard hours of
work. There is no getting around this and there is no free lunch. But,
if you’re working towards something that you’re passionate about,
something you love – then is it really work?
6. Use your thoughts to change your life. Do you wake up every morning, go to work, come home and watch TV or maybe just mess around on the Internet, and then go to bed? Do you rinse and repeat every day? We become what we think. Try a change in your Life

7. Learn to Analyze Details: Get all the facts, all the input. Learn from your mistakes.
I think you have to strike a balance between getting all the facts and making a decision with incomplete data – both are traits of successful people. Spend time gathering details, but don’t catch ‘analysis paralysis’.
8. Focus Your Time And Money: Don’t let other people or things distract you.
Remain laser focused on your goals and surround yourself with positive people that believe in you. Don’t be distracted by the naysayer’s or tasks that are not helping you achieve your goals.
9. Deal And Communicate With People Effectively: No person is an island. Learn to understand and motivate others.
Successful people develop and nurture a network and they only do that by treating people openly, fairly and many times firmly. There is nothing wrong about being firm – just don’t cross the a-hole line. How do you deal with people?
10. Arise Awake and Stop Not Till the Goal is Reached:- Put all your efforts into make your dreams true.
GOLDEN WORDS: TRY , TRY , TRY AND TRY AGAIN SUCCESS IS WAITING FOR YOU.
